  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce Adds depth; recommend Red Boat Fish Sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Brown sugar is ideal for richness.
Main Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Use high-quality butter for the best flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic recommended.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for creaminess.
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish Adds flavor and color.

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions (3-5 minutes for fresh or 5-7 for dried). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until bubbly and slightly foamy (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring continuously to avoid burning.
  4. Stir in the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and gently toss to combine, ensuring the noodles are coated evenly.
  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the noodles and toss to combine until the cheese melts.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can be reheated in the microwave or on the stove.
