Method
Preparation
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the noodles, and cook according to package instructions (generally 4-7 minutes for egg noodles, 6-8 for rice noodles). Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a bowl, mix the minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch until well combined.
Cooking
- Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Stir until the chicken is coated and the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet with the chicken and sauce until everything is evenly mixed and warm.
- Plate your dish hot, garnished with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Notes
Best flavor is achieved with freshly minced garlic and quality soy sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
