  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter use the best quality, brands like Jif or Skippy work well
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low-sodium options are great
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil toasted sesame oil elevates the dish
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or to taste, feel free to adjust based on your heat preference
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup local honey adds richness
  • 1 clove garlic, minced fresh is best for a wonderful kick
  • 1/2 cup water adjust for desired sauce consistency
For Garnish
  • chopped green onions and peanuts adds color and crunch

Method
 

Cooking Noodles
  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes, until al dente.
Preparing Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, honey, and minced garlic until thick and creamy.
  2. Gradually add water to the peanut sauce and mix until desired consistency is reached.
Combining Noodles and Sauce
  1. Drain the cooked noodles and add them to the bowl with the sauce, tossing until every strand is coated.
  2. Plate your noodles and garnish with chopped green onions and crushed peanuts.

Notes

Storage: These noodles can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Keep sauce and noodles separate until ready to serve. You can prepare the sauce in advance and cook the noodles fresh.
