Preparation
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, usually 7-9 minutes for al dente.
- Drain the noodles and set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey (or sugar). Stir and simmer for another minute.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce for about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced green onions and remove from heat.
- Serve the noodles garnished with sesame seeds while hot.
Notes
These noodles make a great standalone dish but can be paired with steamed vegetables or crispy tofu. They're perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.
