Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Semi-sweet preferred, but milk chocolate works too.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Use fresh and preferably organic.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Use real vanilla for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Adjust based on desired sweetness.
  • 1 pinch salt To balance the flavors.

Method

Preparation
  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it simmers, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until completely melted and smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt, stirring until well-blended.
  4. Transfer the hot chocolate dip to a serving bowl and enjoy immediately, preferably warm.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for richer flavor. Let the heavy cream sit at room temperature before starting for best results. Experiment with different flavored extracts for variety.
